Guided Kayak Tours

Blessed with natural beauty, an abundance of wildlife and steeped in rich history, the North Oregon Coast is truly a flatwater paddler’s paradise.

Explore a scenic river, bay or estuary. Capture a slice of life on a houseboat as you meander up the idyllic John Day River and listen to tales of John Day himself. Perhaps follow in the wake of Lewis & Clark and observe wildlife such as harbor seals and bald eagles in their natural habitats. See remnants from Astoria’s glory days as the fish canning capital of the world. Get up close to commercial crabbing vessels, you may even recognize one from the Deadliest Catch! Hear folklore of sunken treasure as our waters are rife with shipwrecks and stories. If your lucky, cross paths with a pilot boat heading out to sea and learn about the role of our bar pilots guiding ships across the Graveyard of the Pacific. Don’t forget to soak in picture worthy 360 degree views of sites such as our iconic bridge, the Astoria skyline, Washington State, Saddle Mountain and the Coastal Range. Experience our pristine, flatwater trails and count yourself among the lucky few that have tapped into our local goldmine for paddlers!
